Derwel PD1880TB 18Inch Bass Speaker Driver

This is a heavy-duty, professional-grade low-frequency loudspeaker driver designed for high-performance sound reinforcement systems. Built to handle demanding audio environments, it functions as a raw component (often called a “naked speaker”) intended to be mounted inside a custom subwoofer or bass enclosure. The unit features a robust, multi-spoke cast aluminum basket that provides maximum structural rigidity, ensuring the massive magnet assembly stays perfectly aligned even under heavy mechanical stress. It utilizes a large, thick dual-ferrite magnet structure to maximize magnetic flux, which allows for tight cone control and efficient power handling. For connectivity, the driver is equipped with heavy-duty, spring-loaded push terminals color-coded in red and black, ensuring secure, high-current wire connections that resist vibrating loose during operation. This driver is ideal for building custom subwoofers, scoop bins, or replacing blown components in professional PA systems used in clubs, outdoor live venues, houses of worship, and mobile DJ rigs.SpecificationsBrand: DerwelType: Professional Woofer / Subwoofer DriverPower Capacity: 2200 WattsNominal Impedance: 8 OhmsFrame Material: Heavy-duty cast aluminum speaker coil:125 voice coil (double)
