JBL 15inch Midbass 99.5Voice Coil 8ohms Naked Speaker

This image displays the rear view of a heavy-duty JBL Professional Series 15-inch low-frequency driver, widely recognized as part of the iconic JBL 2226 series (such as the 2226H). Designed for high-performance commercial sound reinforcement, cinema systems, and touring sound rigs, this transducer is built to deliver exceptional power handling and deep, punchy mid-bass response.Design & Construction DetailsCast Aluminum Frame: Features a rugged, multi-spoke matte black die-cast aluminum basket. This robust structure provides maximum mechanical rigidity to support the heavy magnet assembly and minimizes basket resonance.Massive Ferrite Magnet: A large-diameter, high-flux ceramic magnet assembly dominates the back. This structure features an integrated Vented Gap Cooling system to manage heat during prolonged high-power operation.Premium Central Badge: A classic circular JBL Professional sticker sits at the center of the magnet pole piece, detailed with the distinctive orange logo. It outlines the compliance warnings, technical series details, and manufacturing origins.Ribbed Cone Structure: Visible through the basket gaps is the rear side of a premium, polymer-treated fiber cone. The distinctive concentric ribbing enhances structural rigidity, prevents cone flexing under heavy loads, and ensures linear piston movement.Production Stamping: A unique factory serial code is clearly stamped in white text directly onto the outer edge of the structural frame basket for quality assurance and authenticity tracking.
