The M-Audio BX8 Carbon is a professional bi-amplified studio monitor designed for critical audio mixing, recording, and multimedia production. It features an 8-inch woven Kevlar low-frequency driver paired with a 1.25-inch natural silk dome tweeter to deliver an accurate, flat frequency response and exceptional acoustic detail.The speaker utilizes an Acoustic Guide waveguide design to optimize high-frequency dispersion, creating an expanded, cohesive “sweet spot” for stereo imaging. Driven by 130 watts of Class A/B amplification (70W LF, 60W HF), it provides strong headroom and minimal distortion even at higher volumes.To help integrate the monitors into various acoustic environments, the rear panel includes an Acoustic Space Control calibration switch, which adjusts low-frequency output to compensate for placement near walls or corners. Connectivity options include balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs, allowing seamless integration with audio interfaces, mixers, and other professional studio equipment.
