NEXO PS15 15-Inch Midrange Professional Loudspeaker

The Nexo PS15 is a high-performance, two-way passive loudspeaker engineered for professional audio reinforcement, touring, and fixed installations. Recognized for its versatile asymmetrical cabinet design, it functions exceptionally well as both a vertical front-of-house PA speaker and a low-profile horizontal stage floor monitor.Key Design FeaturesCabinet Construction: Built from premium Baltic birch plywood, finished in a durable, scratch-resistant textured black coating. It includes integrated handles and internal bracing to minimize acoustic resonance.Protective Front Grille: Features a heavy-duty, hexagonal-patterned perforated steel mesh grille that protects internal drivers from physical damage while maximizing acoustic transparency.Acoustic Configuration: Employs a high-power 15-inch neodymium low-frequency driver alongside a 2-inch throat compression driver mounted on an asymmetrical dispersion horn. This unique horn design throws sound wider at the bottom and narrower at the top to optimize audience coverage.Technical PerformancePower Handling: Optimized for high-SPL output, safely handling up to 1000–2000 watts of peak amplifier power depending on the specific model variant (such as the PS15-R2).Impedance & Connection: Operates at a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms, featuring standard SpeakON NL4 inputs and loop-through outputs on the rear connector panel for simple daisy-chaining.Active Integration: Though passive, it is optimized to run alongside Nexo digital controllers or power amplifiers to implement active crossover points, driver protection, and precise equalization curves.
